While TDY to Altus AFB, you DO NOT have to stay on base or in a hotel recommended by billeting per the Joint Travel Regulation.

Staying in a crashpad will cost you NOTHING out of pocket and provides you with all the amenities missing from on base lodging and hotels.

Before your stay I'll send you two forms to fill out. A simple lease, and payment form. From there I'll automatically charge your GTC on a schedule that works for you and immediately provide you with an itemized receipt that you submit through DTS to be fully reimbursed.
